Baptist Hospital staff, NAPD check plans for Back-to-School Drive-Thru Fair

New Albany MS – The annual Baptist Memorial Hospital Union County (BMH) Back-to-School Fair will be Saturday morning, July 25th.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s fair will be a drive-through event in which school children will stay in the motor vehicles with the adults that drive them to and through the event.

The Baptist Back-to-School Fair is for children age 12 and under.

Children will interact with medical professionals, public safety personnel, and civic club members, who will man more than 20 booths during the event.
Some school supplies will be given away on a first-come, first served basis.

The New Albany Police Department (NAPD) will direct the flow of traffic for the drive-through Back-to-School Fair. NAPD officers will begin lining up vehicles to drive through the fair at 7:30 a.m.

Vehicles entering the fair are asked to approach from Highway 30 west and turn south on Renasant Drive to Oxford Road. NAPD officers along the route will direct vehicles through the fair.
