USA Dance enjoyed “Dancing into Spring” at the Home & Garden Show
On Saturday, April 5th, five members of the USA Dance Northeast Mississippi Chapter experienced the New Albany Home and Garden Club Show in Downtown New Albany. What a fantastic event! There was live music, good food and of course lots of information on horticulture.
USA Dance members Zachary and Alexandra Hopper, with Mom, Michelle, in support, and club Vice-President Lee Oswalt danced on Bankhead Street as well as on the stage of the Magnolia Civic Center. They demonstrated three ballroom dances including the waltz, west coast swing, and foxtrot.
You can join in the fun of ballroom dance by attending weekly Monday night free beginner lessons at the Old Barber Shop next to the Hill Country Network. Lessons will begin at 6:30.
The next chapter dance is scheduled for April 27, at the Event Center in New Albany.
Make plans to join them.
